Following the stunning news that RINO Speaker of the House, Surrender Caucus leader, John Boehner was resigning from both his speakership and his congressional seat, the man who planned to challenge Boehner in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District, J.D. Winteregg, issued a statement saying that he was “elated” when he heard the news on Friday of Boehner’s resignation.
“Like most other conservatives, Americans, and Ohioans, I was elated when I heard the news that John Boehner would be resigning,” Winteregg stated. “While I thank the speaker for his years of service, I think this news speaks volumes about the state of Washington, D.C., the GOP, and conservatism generally,” he declared.
The white flag-waving Boehner was under extreme pressure for surrendering to the whims of the Obama Regime at every opportunity, effectively giving up Congress’s constitutional power of the purse, funding unpopular and/or unconsitutional policies such as Obama’s illegal amnesty, Obamacare, and Planned Butcherhood, the Democrat Party-aligned baby body parts trafficking operation.
In late July, conservative Congressman Mark Meadows from North Carolina courageously filed a historic motion requesting that establishment Boehner vacate his position as speaker.
“Every voter I talk to is disgusted with the abysmal failure that is the Republican resistance to Barack Obama,” Winteregg continued in his hard-hitting statement. “We need candidates who are committed to actually doing everything in their power to halt the slow march of this agenda, and who will not give in to the establishment in Washington, D.C.,” Winteregg proclaimed.

Winteregg, who has never held public office and ran an admirable race against big-moneyed Boehner in 2014, reminded that he “was the only candidate who was willing to make that principled stand against Speaker Boehner before his announcement,” and said that he will “continue the fight against any candidate the establishment, K Street, or Chamber of Commerce runs in John Boehner’s place,” realizing it is quite likely that the GOP RINO establishment will likely find another big government cronyist stooge to run against Winteregg in Boehner’s absence.
Late last month, J.D. Winteregg told PolitiStick in an exclusive interview that Boehner, who has a record of punishing principled constitutional conservatives, fights harder against conservatives than he does against Obama and the left.
In his resignation speech, Boehner talked about being proud of so-called “accomplishments” during his reign. However, as CNS News pointed out, the national debt increased by almost $4 trillion under John Boehner’s “leadership.”
Winteregg promised voters in his statement that he could be trusted to stand up to the establishments of both parties, and pledged to not be “more of the same.”
“Since I was the only person willing to run on principle, and not just when the seat opened up, I am the only candidate that the voters of the 8th District of Ohio can trust to stand up to the Republican Establishment and the Democrats once elected. Moreover, I am the only candidate the voters can trust to vote for a true conservative as the next Speaker, and not more of the same.”
Earlier this week, Boehner went to leftist Politico to claim that he was not a RINO, calling the accusation “laughable,” a denial Winteregg strongly rebuked, telling PolitiStick exclusively that Boehner is “clearly a RINO.”
“John Boehner spent well over a million dollars the last election cycle trying to convince people that he was “one of us, fighting for us.” He has a history of investing his time in trying to convince the people that he’s something he’s not.
Actions speak louder than words, and judging by his continual acquiescence to the President and Democrats, he’s clearly a RINO.
That being said, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Speaker solicited support from Democrats to save his hide. Odds are that he and the Democrats will attempt to portray the strong conservatives as extremists in order to keep supporting Obama’s disastrous policies.”
A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll showed that a whopping 72 percent of Republican primary voters were dissatisfied with his and RINO sidekick, Senate Majority Leader Mitch “Obama’s Mitch” McConnell.
Maybe the lying snake Mitch McConnell will be next. We can only hope.
